Activities around the Chateau are diverse. Chateau de Redon is located near many places of (pre-)historical and cultural interest like Lascaux, the Valley of the Vézère and Hautefort. Wander around in the beautiful historical villages like Domme, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Collonges-la-Rouge, Saint-Jean de Côle and Brantôme. Visit one of the many castles like Beynac, Milandes, Castelnaud and Hautefort.
If you want to explore the beauty of nature, there are many caves, like Tourtoirac and Rouffignac, or Gouffres, like Gouffre de Padirac and Gouffre de Proumeyssac or you can go walking and cycling in the beautiful landscape, or canoeing on the rivers Vézère or Dordogne.
Culinary adepts can visit the local markets or farms, go wine tasting or have an in-house wine course/cooking class, visit a truffle farm… and if you are more the sportive type, horse riding, golfing, rafting, tree climbing, mountain biking and much more is available.
